McKenzie Lloyd-Smith
Bio
McKenzie Lloyd-Smith is a Postdoctoral Fellow of Organizational Behaviour at Rotman. He earned his PhD in Management from Bayes Business School, University of London. His research interests include organisational resilience, reliability, uncertainty, and crisis management, as well as temporary organising and coordination, particularly focusing on the healthcare industry.
McKenzie aims to produce triple impact research, contributing to theory, practice, and education. He has published peer-reviewed academic papers, contributing to the fields of healthcare and management. He has written industry papers, including policy papers for the UK’s National Health Service and case-study reports for regulatory bodies. In addition, McKenzie has developed and delivered educational courses including workshops & lecture programmes for bachelor, graduate, and executive degree courses. He runs workshops and focus groups for industry practitioners, including healthcare leadership and executive teams, and frequently speaks at industry & academic events.
